What your child does
- Picks a project idea and plans the steps
- Chooses the materials the project needs
- Builds it at home or at school and films a short video
- Shares it on MiniGuru and gets kind feedback
- Earns Goins (points for effort) and moves up the levels
Skills that last
Children practise creativity, problem solving, planning, patience, teamwork and confidence. They learn to try, fail, improve and explain what they did. These are the future skills schools and employers look for.
Safety and privacy
- A person at MiniGuru checks every video before it becomes public.
- Public profile cards show only a nickname-style maker card. They never show school, city, age, contact details or a photo.
- Children never connect their own Google or YouTube account.
- Comments are limited and can be removed by MiniGuru staff.
- You can ask to change or delete your child's data by writing to connect@miniguru.in.
Read our Privacy Policy and Terms.
Do I have to buy things?
No. Many projects can be built from things you already have at home. When a project needs materials, your child can send you the list, with a one-tap link to buy on Amazon.in. You review the cart and pay on Amazon yourself. MiniGuru never sells anything and never takes payment inside the app. Goins are points, not money.
Home Tinkering Corner
Every child has something they are quietly drawn to, such as circuits, clay, wood or science experiments, and most homes have nowhere for that curiosity to go. We help you set up a personal making space at home. It begins with a short call with you and your child together, then a layout for even a corner of a room or a single shelf, and a materials list matched to your child's interests. It is not a kit and not a toy corner. It is a real making space, designed around your child's own curiosity, with safety guidance for parents. Write to connect@miniguru.in to start.
Is it free?
Joining MiniGuru is free. Every new account starts with free Goins. Home Tinkering Corner setup is a separate service.
